Appointment Policy

Appointments are to be scheduled in advance whenever possible. If you need to re-schedule, please notify us as soon as possible. If you arrive late to your appointment, you may experience a longer than normal wait time or be asked to re-schedule. Appointments typically take priority over walk-ins. Please be aware that in compliance with state mandated medical and ethical guidelines, this medical facility utilizes a Triage system wherein emergency cases, especially those deemed critical, are given priority over other patients including those with appointments. Your patience and empathy in this matter is appreciated.

Pet Restraint Policy

For the safety of your fellow humans and pets, all animals must be on a leash or in a carrier before entering our hospital. Please remember that not all pets and people react the same to certain situations.

Vaccination Policy

Vaccination schedules are tailored to each individual pet’s needs. Factors including age, lifestyle, and immune status are used to determine vaccine recommendations. Unless medically exempt, all dogs and cats are required to receive the Rabies vaccine per California state law. Guidelines for this specific vaccine require it to be administered in conjunction with a medical exam by a licensed veterinarian.

Prescription Refill Policy

In accordance with state law, a physical examination must be performed by a veterinarian at our facility a minimum of once yearly in order for us to grant refill requests. There are absolutely no exceptions to this policy.

Payment Policy

Payments are due at the time services are rendered. Please notify staff of an existing pet insurance policy or Wellness Plan. We also accept Care Credit, Scratch Pay, most major credit cards, and cash.
